TwinDesk is a managed IT support service, not an automation product you have to run yourself. Two desks operate as one: a Virtual AI Desk that never sleeps, and a Human Ops Desk staffed by ValueDX engineers. Human-in-the-loop approval is built into the pipeline, not added on afterwards.

What exactly is TwinDesk?
TwinDesk is a managed IT support service from ValueDX. It pairs TwinDesk automation, which resolves the repetitive share of your ticket queue, with a dedicated ValueDX engineering team that owns everything automation cannot resolve. You get end-to-end resolution across the whole queue, and you are billed on resolved outcomes rather than on seats or hours.
How is this different from buying an automation platform?
An automation platform resolves the tickets it was configured for and returns the rest to you. That leftover volume is usually the harder work, and it lands back on the team you were trying to relieve. TwinDesk does not stop at that boundary. Everything automation cannot close is picked up by our engineers inside the same service, under the same SLA.
Do you really resolve 100% of tickets?
We take ownership of 100% of the queue, and we get there through automation plus people rather than automation alone. In a typical deployment automation resolves around 60% of incoming volume; the remaining tickets are handled by ValueDX engineers as part of the service. The claim is about who is accountable for the whole queue, not about a machine resolving everything by itself.
How is TwinDesk priced?
On outcomes. The unit of billing is a resolved ticket rather than a seat, a licence or an hour, and idle time is not billed at all, so your cost moves with your actual volume instead of with the size of the team assigned to you. It also means automation works in your favour: as more of the queue gets automated, your cost per resolved ticket falls rather than the saving going to the provider. Exact rates depend on volume and ticket mix and are agreed during scoping.
Do we have to replace our ITSM?
No. TwinDesk works on top of what you already run, including ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, BMC Remedy, Zendesk, HaloITSM and TOPdesk. Tickets are read and updated in place and the audit trail is written back, so your team keeps the same console, queues and reporting.
What stops the automation doing something it should not?
Policy Guard evaluates every proposed action against your security policy before it runs. Where confidence is low or the action is sensitive, privileged or irreversible, the automation pauses and pushes the full diagnostic package to a human engineer for a one-click approval. High-risk actions are never executed without that approval, and every step is logged.
What happens to complex tickets automation cannot handle?
They go to the ValueDX bench, which spans infrastructure, application support, networking, cloud and security across L1 to SME and lead levels. Because the automation has already gathered the diagnosis, the engineer picks up a completed investigation rather than a blank ticket, which is a large part of why resolution times drop.
